How We Started

Travel My Uttarakhand was born from my decades of on-ground experience in the Himalayas and a simple belief I have always lived by:
A yatra should be well-planned, safe, and comfortable—handled with the same care a family member gives when arranging a journey for another family member.

My journey began in 1999 in Haridwar, when I started providing transportation services for yatris visiting Uttarakhand. Over the past 25+ years, I have had the privilege of serving thousands of Yatris, driving through the hills long before GPS, luxury hotels, and organized “packages” existed.


Those years taught me more than just routes—they taught me patience, responsibility, and respect for the mountains and for the faith of every yatri who trusts us with their journey.

In 2022, my sons, Tushar Dev Kathuria and Aryan Dev Kathuria, joined me in the family business. They brought fresh ideas, modern systems, and the same values we have always believed in. Together, our goal became very clear:
to provide the kind of yatra experience we would choose for our own family members.

Over the years, we have learned every curve of the mountain roads, understood changing weather patterns, and faced every challenge that yatris encounter—always handling them with calmness and responsibility. Our services today are shaped by real feedback from real travelers, and that is why we confidently stand by what we offer.
